About the Shack
The Healing Shack was founded in 2014 and is the fruition of a dream of mine.
I dreamed of having a place where people could gather and share, and feel safe and un-judged. That is exactly what the Healing Shack embodies. The name happened while I was trying to think of something clever.
From the Jasper stones thrown on the Earth below the floor to the vaulted roof, and through the guardian pines, the Healing Shack is a space for love and kindness and open expression of self for all well-intentioned visitors.

I found my path to self-love under the three guardian pine trees in some desperate moments when I was struggling, not loving myself the way I so deserve. Many struggles of my own showed me that I needed to be more forgiving of myself. The less I allowed others to define me and my self worth, the more empowered I became. As I have worked my way to wholeness, and have felt what it can be, I crave to share that feeling with the world. The Healing Shack was born of that dream. So fitting that she is nestled in the pines and has become a place where events, celebrations, trainings, workshops, and community are open to all who desire what she has to offer them. The Healing Shack is my dream awakened, a mirror of my soul awakening. I strive to provide a place for everyone to develop and nourish love for themselves, and connections with others on that journey.
In 2016, I graduated my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. In 2021, my 300 hour, and in 2023 I started leading 200 hour Teacher Trainings for others on their journey. In 2024, The Healing Shack became a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance. In 2025, I completed my Reiki Master Teacher Initiation.
As a teacher and guide my mission is that everyone feels embraced in this container and that they walk away empowered and compelled to be their authentic self
