Kirtan & Drumming- Fire Circle

Service Description

Join us for a meaningful Kirtan by the fire led by Nina Smock of Resonant Heart, accompanied with drumming by Myquawn Bailey of Drum Iowa. For those unfamiliar, a Kirtan is a group chant or sing-along where people come together to repeat sacred sounds or mantras, and in our case is accompanied by drums and a harmonium.This is a beautiful, uplifting and communal experience where we focus on spiritual connection and getting into a positive, peaceful state. Think of it like a kind of musical meditation where everyone gets involved, and the energy in the room builds as we get lost in the rhythm and the words. There will be cocoa and tea available for the cool evening. (This is an alcohol free event.)
